PROGREESIVE APPROACH OF CONTINUOUS
AND COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION (CCE)
In wake of latest Examination reforms
introduced by CBSE, Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation
(CCE) System has been successfully implemented in DAV
Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave. It is noteworthy
that the school is one of the Mentor schools in west Zone
appointed by the CBSE.
To familiarize the teachers with the functionalities of
CCE, a full day Orientation Programme was organized by
the school on March 16,2010. The focus of the programme
was integrated approach towards holistic learning strengthening
life skills, values and attitudes, pursuing skill based
activities for all round development of the child’s
personality. It is also focused on assessment techniques
in CCE.
Principal Ms. Manju Malik appreciated
the efforts of Ms. Anita Marwaha PGT (Science)and Ms.
Nimisha Sharma PGT(English) for organizing the workshop.
